Emo-punk band Kerosene Heights have released their latest single, “New Tattoo,” the lead track from their forthcoming album, Blame It On the Weather, out August 15, 2025 via SideOneDummy Records.
“New Tattoo” showcases the band’s blend of emotionally charged lyrics and tightly constructed melodic instrumentation. With bright, interlocking guitar lines and confessional vocals, the song balances modern emo sensibilities with roots in classic punk and Midwest-inspired math rock. It marks the first new material following their 2024 EP Leaving and reflects the band’s evolution in both sound and scope.
Produced and mixed by Billy Mannino, and mastered by Mike Kalajian, the upcoming album features twelve tracks including “Sunsetting” and “Waste My Time.” The LP is now available for pre-order in multiple formats, including a limited edition blue-bone splash vinyl.
With “New Tattoo,” Kerosene Heights set the tone for what promises to be their most cohesive and resonant release to date—further solidifying their place within the contemporary emo-punk landscape.
