Goin’ Places – Let’s Go to the Beach

Staten Island’s longtime pop-punk crew Goin’ Places are back with Let’s Go to the Beach, a bright, hook-loaded single released through Mom’s Basement Records. The track captures everything the band has always done best—simple, fast, and irresistibly catchy Ramonescore built for endless replay.

The single also sets the stage for their upcoming album Imperfect, due out this fall. While firmly rooted in three-chord tradition, Let’s Go to the Beach is no nostalgia act. It shows Goin’ Places still firing with the same energy and sense of fun that first put them on the map back in the early 2000s, when they made waves with Girl Songwriting 101 and the follow-up Save the World.

Now celebrating more than 25 years together, Goin’ Places prove that they haven’t lost their edge—or their ability to write a chorus you’ll be humming long after the song ends. Let’s Go to the Beach is a reminder that pop-punk, when played with this much heart, never gets old.
