Dave Hause returns with a blistering new single, “Enough Hope,” out now via Blood Harmony Records. The track offers a first look at his forthcoming full-band album, …And The Mermaid, set for release on September 26, 2025 in partnership with SBÄM Records in the EU/UK.
Recorded at Rain City Recorders in Vancouver with producer Jesse Gander (Japandroids, White Lung), the record reunites Hause with his full band The Mermaid—featuring Tim Hause, Luke Preston, Mark Masefield, and Kevin Conroy—for their first time tracking together in-studio.
“Enough Hope” delivers urgent, guitar-driven punk with a satirical edge. Written from the perspective of the powerful mocking the working class, the song channels frustration into focused, melodic aggression. It’s Hause at his most direct—lean, loud, and lyrically sharp.
The single sets the tone for what promises to be one of Hause’s most politically charged and sonically full-bodied records to date. Catch him this fall on tour with The Gaslight Anthem and The Bouncing Souls, plus a European run with The Mermaid.
