BANE’s Boston 6:58pm, long out of print and hard to find outside of collectors’ circles, is finally seeing a wider release. First issued on October 17, 2009, by Boston label Triple B Records, the EP is now available digitally for the first time, hitting all major streaming platforms on June 13, 2025.
This compact release captures BANE’s signature melodic hardcore sound—urgent, introspective, and rooted in the DIY spirit that defined their era. Originally part of a pair of time-stamped EPs, Boston 6:58pm stands out for its focus on place, mood, and emotion.
A 12-inch vinyl reissue is also on the way, slated for release on June 20. For fans who missed the original physical pressing or newer listeners discovering BANE for the first time, this reissue offers a welcome return to a key moment in late-2000s hardcore.
