Two melodic punk forces from opposite sides of Asia collide on Blending Horizons, a powerful split EP from Japan’s Four Get Me A Nots and South Korea’s WinningShot, out September 5. It’s not just a release—it’s a statement of unity between two vibrant punk scenes, delivered with heart, speed, and harmony.
Four Get Me A Nots, veterans of Japan’s skate punk underground, have been at it since 2004 (originally as Final Gohan), known for their tight riffs, dynamic songwriting, and a style that blends pop sensibility with punk urgency. Their contribution to Blending Horizons reflects that legacy—melodic, layered, and confidently executed.
WinningShot, one of South Korea’s most promising melodic punk outfits, bring youthful fire to the split. Since their 2018 debut, they’ve carved out a space with emotionally charged vocals and breakneck instrumentation, especially evident in their 2022 full-length Reminiscence. On this release, they match their Japanese counterparts beat for beat, adding their own signature grit and shine.
Blending Horizons lives up to its name—four tracks that stretch across borders and scenes, tied together by a shared passion for fast, melodic punk done with purpose. It’s the kind of split that doesn’t just showcase bands—it builds bridges.
