Not All There – The Duck EP

Formed back in 1998, East Wenatchee’s Not All There have always flown just under the radar—but with The Duck EP, they’ve resurfaced in the best way possible. Dropping officially on September 5, this short and solid collection is a perfect time capsule of late-’90s melodic punk—raw, catchy, and cut from the same cloth as early Fat Wreck and Epitaph staples.

From the opening riff, The Duck EP wastes no time. The energy is punchy and familiar, the hooks come fast, and the melodies land hard without overthinking it. It’s the kind of record that feels like a sweaty DIY show, a scratched CD in your car stereo, or a basement band that never forgot how to have fun and still sound tight doing it.

Despite a low-profile presence, Not All There haven’t lost their touch—they’ve honed it. Each track on the EP balances grit with melody, offering something distinctly ’90s without leaning too far into nostalgia. It’s sincere, it’s fast, and most importantly—it works.

Already live on Bandcamp and hitting all streaming platforms by September 1, The Duck EP is a reminder that some bands don’t need reinvention. They just need the right songs… and this EP has them.
