Death Pill – Sologamy

Ukrainian punk trio Death Pill are back with their second album, Sologamy, out now on New Heavy Sounds. It’s a bold, unfiltered record that pushes their sound further—mixing melodic hardcore, riot grrrl intensity, thrash, grunge, and bursts of prog chaos—all in just over 25 minutes.

From the opening blast of Listen to Me Sister to the emotional weight of Ugly Me and the raw energy of Craterface, the album is relentless but never one-note. There’s space here too—tracks like Phone Call and Don’t Say It So bring melody without letting go of the edge.

The title, Sologamy, is a nod to marrying yourself—a metaphor for self-worth and survival. “Every song is a story that happened to us,” the band said. It’s a personal, defiant record shaped by years of turmoil, distance, and war, but it never feels defeated.

Pressed on limited clear vinyl (just 500 copies), Sologamy is more than a follow-up—it’s a statement. If you’re into punk that hits hard, speaks loud, and stays honest, this one’s essential.
