Canadian punk trio Puffer have released their debut full-length, Street Hassle, out now via Static Shock Records. The album delivers eleven tracks of raw, tightly wound punk that nods to the urgency of late-’70s hardcore while injecting a distinctly modern edge.
Self-recorded and mixed by the band, Street Hassle captures a stripped-down, no-frills energy—blending garage-punk grit with sharp songwriting and relentless pacing. Tracks like “Jimmy,” “Gimme the Bone,” and “Blood on the Streets” highlight the trio’s ability to channel aggression and melody in equal measure.
Described as “1979 by way of 2025,” the album has drawn praise for its immediacy and clarity of purpose. Pressed on limited blue and black vinyl, Street Hassle cements Puffer as a standout voice in Canada’s current punk resurgence
