Dee Lav – Razor

Kyiv-based solo artist Dee Lav (Dmytro Lavreniuk, ex-Cardinal Birds) drops “Razor”, a sharp-edged pop-punk single marking the latest step in his evolving solo career. The track channels upbeat tempos, crisp guitar lines, and punchy vocals—melding classic pop-punk sensibilities with a distinct Eastern European flair. It’s a tight, two- to three-minute burst that feels both nostalgic and refreshing.

After fronting Cardinal Birds until their 2024 split, Lav embarked on this solo journey in 2025, layering elements of rock, punk, classical, and even dance into his material  . “Razor” continues that genre-bending path, delivering melodic hooks over driving rhythms—while retaining the raw attitude punk fans dig.

Self-released via DistroKid through The Great Pharaoh Records, the single is accompanied by a DIY-styled video that captures the song’s energy in gritty visual form  . It’s a reminder that punk still thrives on independent spirit, and that Dee Lav is carrying forward that torch from Ukraine’s underground.
