1997

June 6, 1997: Descendents released the single When I Get Old — a punk anthem about aging with heart, humor, and hooks. A standout from Everything Sucks, and still one of the most relatable tracks in their catalog.

June 6, 1997: Slapstick released their one and only self-titled album via Asian Man Records — a furious blend of ska punk and hardcore energy. Though short-lived, the band left a huge mark on the scene, influencing countless bands that followed.
