My Chemical Romance – “Helena” (Live for The Lock Up, 2005)

My Chemical Romance has just released a live version of their iconic track “Helena”, recorded in 2005 for BBC Radio 1’s The Lock Up. The performance captures the raw, emotional power of the band at a pivotal moment, right as they were cementing their legacy with Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.

This release is part of the lead-up to the deluxe edition of Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, dropping June 6, which will feature rare and unreleased material from that era.

The band also announced their ‘Long Live the Black Parade’ tour kicking off this July, promising a massive celebration of their catalog.
